My best friend and I do this with one another all the time. We ask before the conversation begins.... do you want me to just listen or do you want my advice? This way we know which hat to put on and we can be super vulnerable or we can be the sounding board that the other needs or we can bring each other back to reality. It's a blessing to have that in a friendship.

Wow. I've known Joan throughout High School and she has always been a scholar. To see how now saying I am now comfortable being ME unapologetically is really amazing. We are not our titles, underneath it all we are human beings with real emotions and vulnerability.

I believed in God for years through many disappointments. I went to bed crying and in the morning go to church to tell people that God is good. Told my kids God is faithful and one day we will have our breakthrough. My darling husband is blacklisted for 5years, but he owes nothing to nobody and no one can help. We tried every but nothing worked. We served as deacons as teachers in the house of God but we are joke. We can't even buy a house for our kids. My 13year old son Tk is an angel in a human form, he sing, preaches, wants to be an actor n model but he faced a lot of obstacles but in his young age I keep telling his time will come. I listen to Sarah every day before I go to work. But today I'm too hurt, I cried the whole day when I heard that the breakthrough I had yesterday and I was excited and told my family that finally we gonna start our business that hope is gone as I was told today that I don't qualify anymore. I'm beyond broken and sad. God wants nothing to do with me and I today I decided I m stopping to force him to be my dad. Its ok don't feel sorry for me, n do send me scriptures as I know them all. I wanted to make you aware that in your churches there are people who are going through the most. I'm 4months pregnant now n trusted God for a healthy baby girl but knowing how he feels about me I bet I'll have my third boy and it's ok because that's just how life goes. Bye believers in Christ.

The best version of you is being yourself. We all put on this layer when we meet people and then we can’t continue it long term. It’s just safer to be honest in the beginning. Likes and dislikes, etc. Also, being yourself does not mean you get a free pass to be rude if its your personality.

Wow! This is so in season for me. Thank you for stating these pearls.

I've recently broken up with my, now, ex-partner, we've dated for six years and I am in a season where I have to show up into rooms and into life with who I am now.

Right now, as much as it is that I am finding difficulty in certain areas of my life and as much as it feels that the walls are caving in I also understand that this is a propelling moment for me. I'm trusting that I am positioned correctly once the blessings are poured out.

I've met someone and for the most part I feel like I have backslidden but in the same breath I am also growing. I am terrified and my heart is in an unstable environment but I feel this is arable ground that has the capacity to cultivate good value. Perhaps this is it for me, who knows. I am just grateful to be a part of this journey.

This is a season of reinvention for me and a season of learning how to be vulnerable again but in a manner that has greater impact on communication, interactions and my relationships but more so it's a season to determine who I can trust.

As much as there is hurt and frustration there is sheer joy and peace too which I know is God.
