Im not sure about now, but a tolerance test done 3 and 4 years ago by client graphics showed that these sockets have the same internal tolerances as snapon sockets. Again this was around when they first launched and people were saying they were really soft and deformable, theyve updated them since and theyre a lot harder now but i dont know if the tolerances are still the same.

HOBO Freight is getting all their Icon line from the same overseas factories that are making other brands that sell for half the price of Icon. HOBO Freight is laughing all the way to the bank because they have fooled the HOBO Freight fan boys into thinking they are getting Snap On quality tools. HOBO Fright's Icon line only represents about 1% of Snap On's tool line up if that much. If you lose a socket or wrench good luck buying a replacement, you can now order a single wrench or socket from a set but many people have waited 8 months and still have not received the wrench or socket and one person has been waiting 1 1/2 years now and still has not received the Icon replacement tools he ordered. Also if you need a size smaller or larger than what comes in the HOBO Freight Icon pre packaged sets you are out of luck, they don't make them.

Looks to be a well made set. My only minor gripe with this set is that the stampings are upside down. Its noticable if they are put on socket rails. I've never seen that anywhere else except on ICON sockets.

They need to make 12 point sockets if they want to be like snap on

Just picked up a set and the finish looks like absolutely crap for the price. I only our got it because it’s a NO skip set and for some reason it’s kinda hard to find one around me
