Todd Beamer was the man who led the charge to retake the airplane. He was quoted as saying "Okay, lets roll" just before charging the hijackers. Dude was the embodiment of a badass.

They accepted their fate and fought and saved potentially hundreds of lives on the ground. I can't even imagine what it must be like to know it's the end yet still keep fighting as they did. Absolute heroes.

United 93 passengers/crew were ballsy AF. Such courage what they did took. I have no words to describe the extent of their heroism. All I can say is thank you.

They had an actual small plane pilot on board and thier goal was to bust into the cockpit and take control before the terrorists crashed it. God bless them.

What strikes me about how this is portrayed is that in the end, the terrorists died overwhelmed, panicked, and afraid. The civilians died fearlessly, filled with determination and courage. Those were the last emotions both sides felt. It’s the exact opposite of what the terrorists were intending, I’m sure - they wanted to go to paradise with 70 virgins or whatever and for the civilians to feel nothing but fear and helplessness as they slowly approached their deaths. We can at least take joy in knowing that in this case, the emotions must have been reversed to an extent.

Even though the civilians didn’t completely retake the aircraft and bring it back safely, they still prevented it from taking any more lives on the ground. That’s something the world will never forget about them.

The first battle in the war against terrorism. It was a victory because the plane did not reach it's intended target. The men and women on flight 93 died as heroes

Makes me proud of them people that in their last moments, it was the terrorists who were scared and had failed there mission, whilst the passengers went out fighting, inspirational never let evil win always fight right to the end.

22 years on. I remember seeing this movie for the first time. This scene visually showed me what the panic would have been like - the sheer desperation and fight in those passengers who wpuld have been otherwise on any other day, regular people. Their bravery lives on

United 93 doesn't get as much recognition as it deserves. Those passengers were brave till the very end.

Everyone in the scene did an incredible job. From the passengers to the terrorist. It really captured those moments of chaos on what happened on that plane that terrible day. Rip to the heroic passengers.

This has to be one of the most powerful scenes in movie history. It truly captures the exact feelings of chaos and fear the people must’ve been feeling as they were desperately fighting for their lives. Rip to all the brave heroes on Flight 93 who went down fighting. 🙏

I will never get over this ending. When the passangers start regaining control of the plane . It still makes me sad and hurl in my stomach

Hail to the heroes of Flight 93. You saved the lives of countless innocent people on the ground in and near the U.S. Capitol. We will never forget your heroic act of self-sacrifice. From one grateful American.

These 7 minutes carry far more suspense and nerve-wracking tension than your average “action thriller”, even though we all know how it ends… 🥺🥺

What really gets me about this production, is the hopefulness you naturally feel when they take the terrorist out and fight. It makes you feel as if they may actually win...and then you remember. We'll always remember.

I always watch the end of this scene every September 11 to honor these heroes and the lives lost in the attacks. I was seven when it happened and it is a memory I will never forget.
