new player here and i dont think i would be bad, but im scared most players that have been playing for longer will yell at me for being worse, since thats how almost every shooter game community is

Keep in mind: This game is already 6.5 years old and everybody is at least on an intermediate/average level, if not super good via OW 1 - even in casual Quick Play. The learning curve is steep, so depending on your FPS game skills it might take several months + several hours a day to understand & follow the basics. Also skip the "Training against AI" mode after some days - the super-predictable bots' "playstyle" is far from reality.

I like overwatch because there are so many casual gamers on there. It’s a breath of fresh air from the other shooters I’ve played for many years like Halo and Gears. Both of which are full of players extremely loyal to the franchise. So it’s good to get away from that for a bit.

Wish I could learn about the game instead of learning about the game for 1 minute then learning about a battlepass and challenges that have nothing to do with the base game.

I'm not a fan of FPS but this game hook me.. and casually playing it.., this is my first FPS that I enjoy...

My appreciation for Overwatch stemmed from its application of chess-style strategy within an FPS skill-based format. I've always loved FPS games, and for a fast-paced, action/strategy/combat game, Overwatch filled a niche that's almost perfect for me.

Thanks for the vid, I’ve just learnt how to use a camera and walk about in another game and this is my first shooter game. I really struggle with aiming and multitasking but my brother says practice makes perfect. Thanks x

I just played today and consistently dropped 16-17 kills per game while remaining with the team (I had no idea what I was doing)
