TCL QM8 problem

Apparently very common issue in almost every TCL Series for the past like 5 years… try lowering the brightness to Normal or lower (I have the same issue).

I still don’t know what causes this but trust me, it always happens with this particular brand.

Thought this would be a good option for my well lit room instead of an oled due to the glare on those reflective panels but seems like the qm8 also has a pretty reflective panel from what i can tell

Sad looks like TCL is still having problems with google As someone with one of the first TCL google TV's I just gave up completely on Google TV on the TCL put it in dumb TV mode... and hooked up a chromecast much happier now...

My 85" has been perfect. Just get another one.

This happened to my Tcl 6 series. Call Tcl. They gave me a full refund after many resets and updates. The tv would not stop doing this

I've had so many QC issues WITH TCL tvs, I just moved to Samsung

I Might as well stick with the H9G and just get another graphics card.

That's why you go with samsung, sony, or LG. They cost more but it gives you better quality
