And do the settings change for gamers? I pretty much only use my tvs for YouTube, Xbox gaming, and 2-3 streaming services. I might watch some new movies a few times a year but it’s mostly gaming and some tv shows to fall asleep. Lol.

I have a few questions. Do you have settings for each of the HDR modes? Do you also have great settings for darker/dim rooms? This TV is so bright it sometimes looks like I am staring into the sun. Some of the calibration settings out there had me pushing the panel brightness to 100%. Finally, do you have any gaming settings you recommend (namely PS5). I'll be happy to pay if you can help out.

Compare it with an Apple TV please because the settings are different for Dolby vision

Q, do you have settings for the 2023 TCl Q7 series (ready to join your group). Would your QM8 settings be close? Havent seen many YT videos on this model yet - I am a bit afraid of TCl now with the screen issues you discovered on the QM8

I always use your settings since the vizio oled, and you never disappointed with the results. I want this tv so bad but im gonna wait for the hisense u8k to make a decision

The $5 is worth it. I used Q's settings on my S546 and they were a definite improvement. He also explains why he is using certain settings so that you can make some minor adjustment yourself for your particular panel or taste.

Good Morning,

I just purchased my 85 Inch TCL QM8 and had it delivered and wall mounted 24 hours ago.

I attached my devices to it ( PS4 Pro, ( Soon The PS5, Amazon Firestick 4K Max which has my IPTV Services on it, All connected to the Govee AI Sync Box which also controls the light strip on the back of the TV to sync with the content.

I AM COMPLETELY LOST ON SETTINGS AND HOW TO PROPERLY ADJUST SETTINGS TO GET THE BEST PICTURE QUALITY.

My main problem is when the picture is moving fast like an action movie or something, I start seeing transparent pixel boxes around the movement like a lag or something and that blur is insanely discomforting it’s ruining the entire TV experience.

I don’t know if this is an issue with my unit or the settings. Can you please help me adjust the settings on every input and I’m willing to pay if you can assist with my setup specifically because if it’s an issue that won’t Dissapear I will return the unit.
