im about the get a gravel bike and grizly one of the top 3 models im looking for. and this video is very usefull. straight forward.

watching big channels also good but u never know if it’s sponsored or the reviewer all honest (because sometimes even if they are not sponsored they dodge to say negatives because of future collaborations)

so i mostly watching small channels and listen what they think and feel even if they aren’t pro bikers and it helps a lot.

Very useful video! Yep, for grizl, the stand over height is the one that we muct consider. I do want a bigger frame but after watching I think size M will be my best choice (I am 181cm with 85.5 )

Canyon frame sizing is larger than other makes Iam 5.8 and have xsmall would normally be small their sizing web site is very useful and also you can send the bike back if not satisfied

I am 1.85 with 91 cm legs i have got L size and i think it fix perfect for me.
In my oponion seeing your video it looks small for you.

I bought a Grizl and sent it back. I'm about the same dimensions as Mr. Joe - a little bit taller - and Canyon recommended an L. But an M would have been the right size for me. It's a great bike, and Canyon's no-hassle return service is excellent, but I wish I had listened to myself and not Canyon's online size guide!

PS: Mr. Joe isn't going to be a healthy teacher for long if he keeps riding his bike without his helmet!

How would you compare this Canyon Grizl with the Triban RC 520? Are you still riding your Triban? I'm trying to decide between the two and if it's worth the upgrade to the Canyon.

I was thinking about getting the AL version with the GRX for a mixture of commute and fun trips round and about in different terrain. I have three questions, which you may be able to answer.
A lot of people are saying stuff about the quality from CANYON, some things missing, paint quality and so on. How has your experience been in that regard? Has there been any issues where you have had to contact costumer service? And how do you think it would fare doing maybe 70/30 on road/gravel as part daily commuter?

How much did you pay for import duty / tax? Do you pay duty if you import the bike to the U.K. but you are are not a resident of the U.K.?

why did you think you need size l?
I'm 178, 82 inseam and canyon sizing says I can go small/medium. i'd probably go small, not sure though
