Sorry but the burning would not cause anywhere near enough negative pressure to remove anything, and it certainly cannot cause a vacuum (plus things dont burn in a vacuum).
Also smoke cannot penetrate the body and if it did - irrespective of what is burnt and how pure it is - smoke is not healthy (try and breath it in without coughing a lung up).
Candling cannot and will not remove anything, and to imply it can help with infections and virus's etc is plain awefull and very bogus - if someone has an ear infection see a doctor don't get a quack shoving burning tubes in it, not unless you want to become really ill that is.
This practice should be banned and anybody dimwitted enough to believe it does anything helpfull needs to get an education in fact.

How it works: It works by depositing ash residue into your ear canal.
How it helps: It doesn't, at all. In fact, it is harmful. No wax is actually removed, and it only exacerbates the other problems it supposedly solves.
