If you want good fresh stroop waffles, go to Albert Cuyp market. Good places for dinner and wine are Parlotte, Cafe Wu, de Klepel, Toscanini and Scheepskameel

As a Dutchie, I would recommend to visit Breda, Den Bosch, Nijmegen and Maastricht! Way more beautiful than Amsterdam imo

I live around the corner of Teds and indeed, there other places in the same street where you can get a better lunch or cakes. Also for fresh stroopwafels for a normal price go to the several food/veg/markets in the city
