I think do believe trust is one of the most important aspects of a relationship, but people do lie. You need to follow your intuition (mine is pretty good now having done a lot of personal development) so I can sense someone's deceiving behavior pretty quickly. I am convinced the universe saved me from many dysfunctional relationships! Thank you as always.

I talked to someone for 4 year's. We never met yet he told me he was in love with me. I left him last April because I had no feelings like that for him. Had 1 bad marriage and I'm happy with my life. I don't feel incomplete without a partner. Sometimes it is what it is. 😎

Yes! I trusted the one man I thought was trustworthy and during the first few months of dating he wasn’t honest that he was sleeping with someone else. Two years later, this month, we are finally giving up. He doesn’t understand that he set the foundation for me to not be able to ever trust him, and along those years, he was still trying to see other people. I’m not sure I will ever recover. :(

Right that's why when you date you stick to your standards....if they don't stick around, obviously it's smart not to have blind trust....they don't have your best interests , ...only out for themselves not really caring about your feelings.

I have to add a comment to this video. I know you always say we need to spend at least 100 hours with someone to get to know them but sometimes you can learn about someone sooner if you they are open, transparent, vulnerable and are real. I've met people and spent time with them but I couldn't connect with them on a deep level because these people didn't know themselves! There is a quote that I love about character - "You could meet somebody tomorrow who would have better intentions for you than someone you’ve known forever. Time means nothing,  character does."

I have learned to never trust a woman with certain emotions. If I have a bad day, feeling down or even once felt the early onset of depression, I prefer to hang out with the boys and share it with them instead. When I told my ex I was feeling depressed, she didn’t flinch, just listened with a cold stare and went ahead and began to plan on a date when she would remove me from her life. Dating is much worse, if you show any sign of mental instability then you can bet it ends right there. It’s appropriate when dating but after 12yrs of relationship it just shows how women value men. If your broken then goodbye mr man.
