This film proves that I'll literally watch anything, no matter how ridiculous and poorly written it is, as long as it is filmed nicely, has competent actors, and is about time travel.... Not really sure if it was good or bad, but it was an interesting take on being in a time loop. It's all a paradox, right? And, if Paula takes the pills before Zoya dies can she maybe save her? Idk, it kinda fell apart for me at the end.

Don't watch this movie if you're into sci-fi movies that focus on time-travel. In reality it's an emotional "cry your eyes out" movie that uses time-travel as the framing device. The movie's not meant to be analyzed outside of how it makes you feel.

So, who actually gave young zoya the pills? And why hasn't Zoya used her time traveling abilities to win the lottery? There are a million ways she could have exploited this, she would have had enough money to actually pay people to work on this. She DID say that he had experimented with the pills as a child, so it's not like she had to keep resetting her timeline every days or else she would die.

A lot was left out in the open at the end of the movie but you can still make some assumptions as to what happens based on what is mentioned in the movie:

- Zoya's father was a scientist and he seemed to be involved in all of it
- At the end of the movie we see Zoya's father sharing details to her about the end of her own life as a bed time story.
- During the movie Zoya brings up that her father told her stories of an "empress of the galaxy", considering events, this is likely alluding to Paula, not zoya.
- The fact the Zoya's life ends without completing the time loop (origin of the pills) likely means Paula is the one the completes (maybe in conjunction with Zoya's father).

What likely happens after the movie ends: with Zoya's research Paula solves time travel and at some point sends the pill bottle back to where zoya found in order to preserve the order of events and then goes on to become the "emperess of the galaxy" through manipulation of time. This is likely how Zoya changed the world, by helping create the empress of the galaxy.

Wow. This movie played on my worst fears and my deepest fantasy. I feel that I'm stuck in a hallway of doors, and I'm so afraid to take any of them that I never actually escape, and maybe when I realize that one was the right door for me, I can't go back and do it right again. I feel like I never learn. The past eats a dark hole in my heart. It leaves me gasping in the night, waking from nightmares of lives I have lived for far too long, stuck only in a cage I made myself.

I would do many things to have the ability to loop. I dream about it constantly. "If I had only done this, or if I had just changed that..."

And I lie and tell myself that I wouldn't want things to have turned out differently. How could I know that? If things were different, I'd never know.

So... The plot had no point. "You'll change the world" was meaningless because apparently she didn't do anything. Where'd the time travel pills come from? Don't know! Why did time stop when she was about to die? No idea! What was the point of the film? Don't care!
