They could've easily made this into a show, there's just so many events in his life and people hes met, fought, and served with. Not to mention having a ton of material from historians to work with notably Napoleon: A life.

Looking forward to this, I hope they make it 2.5-3+ hours, because there's still plenty of action to fit. I also hope they don't gloss over/rewrite/simplify the history too much. I'm hoping Ridley Scott can pull off another "The Duelists".

i hope and pray they don't mess this up. Good or evil, Napoleon was a larger than life individual who was at the center of some of the most dramatic and epic moments in European history. In an age of horses and men he marched armies that wouldn't be matched in size for another century, across continents and fought in battles that we as modern people cannot comprehend the scale and sound of. Hollywood does not need to make anything up, he is a legend.
