A lot of my nightmares recently have been revolving around death. Not specifically regarding myself (though they have been present), but mostly losing loved ones. Overall my mental health has tanked massively in recent weeks, and I generally tend to put it down to previous trauma in my life. It's obvious to the point where a lot of my work colleagues are picking up on it and whilst I cannot appreciate them enough, the thought that I might have a lot of issues I don't know about genuinely scares me.

Okay so:
1. Sleeping schedule is off✅️ shifts go brr
2. Your eating habits changed❌️✅️(depends)
3. Not enjoying hobbies or going out with friends✅️(friends that I've left provably 4 and a few hobbies that I don't have time for because work and school)
4. Irritated a lot of the time✅️✅️ (mostly because of customers)
5. Talking about death a lot✅️✅️ literally making myself the joke for someone's amusement
6. Feeling aches and pain all over the body✅️

Don't know if I should be worried but I can't change it either because work and I don't want to be locked up 🙃

I can relate to a lot of these. If not all. I've been to stubborn to go talk to anyone. But I've been working on it myself for years. Thanks for the videos:)

I relate to all of these, I wish I had professional help to talk about my problems but am usually declined and told that it's not real for me. Like, wow, what a way to make my mental health even worse. But I'm just glad I have these videos so I can learn more and maybe meet some people who're going through the same

This illness, along with anxiety, has affected me for 21 of my 28 years of life. It's hard to get through it.

Thank you for always reminding us to seek help and to pay closer attention to our health. I think it’s easy to forget about the little yet most important things in life, especially in this busy world. Sometimes we tend to put on a brave face and put our emotional needs to the side. Physical and Mental health are always closely connected. When there’s an imbalance in one, it tends to affect the other as well. Everyone has been working hard to give daily content to us. Please don’t forget about your well-being too. And staying hydrated can be beneficial to the digestive system as well. Please stay safe. You’re loved, and your needs are just as important.

You know when someone says it hurts here 💗. Sometimes when I go through depression I actually physically feel it in my heart. it's like someone is squeezing it from the inside. it's like a heart attack full of emotions.

Important to note that depression is not some neat and tidy thing that you cure and make go away, it's a struggle that continues as you learn to catch yourself in unhelpful thinking styles, better recognize your moods, and slowly learn to be more self-compassionate. I have been attending therapy bi weekly since about the middle of the pandemic, and though I am so much better than I was, there are still times when one or more of these apply to me. Coping is hard, but it does work, and you do tend to feel happier and more comfortable with yourself.

Thanks to the animators. Thanks to the presenter for making this video, , I try to put a brave face on but I do have moments I realize I'm depressed, I get minimal support from NHS has been more difficult from they stopped issuing my prescription but I really try to manage without the meds. 😇
