I knew these guys weren't smart enough to write this

Imagine walking around for almost two decades with this plot point in your head. So grateful to live in the same time period as one of the best Fantasy authors of all time.

It’s crazy how Brann did that to him and in the end Hodor is the one who saved him

Probably the saddest moment of the show and I’m sure the book scene will be no different

The show scene was a major silver lining in the post book episodes. Which makes me worry that they didn’t handle it as tactfully as the books will.

Not even gonna front my landlord who also watched Game of Thrones floated this theory like a year or two before it was actually confirmed in the show. We're from the South, and apparently that's something he heard growing up especially with people speaking in a particularly strong dialect, he's like "Hodor" used to be said by workers or working class people, basically, if they wanted someone to keep the door open for them they'd truncate the words "Hold the door" into the more dialectical "Hodor".

I was like "No way that's what it is but that's an interesting theory."

SO glad I didn't bet, when that happened I immediately got a text with him basically saying "TOLD YOU SO" and I was like "fuck".

I hate that he says you have to keep reading 😂. Nah you have to start writing.

This scene is really moving and very sad. Something really stirs inside me when I watch it. Very powerful!

Daggumit! I knew I shouldn't have watched this because I knew they'd include the clip of his death scene. And now I'm sitting here sobbing just like I did when I watched it live in the episode. Hodor's death was easily the most devastating death to witness, and I'd guess it'll be equally as difficult to read, though I'm thinking the door he holds will be at The Wall (Walder---Wall Door--foreshadow much?).

Like that you added the date of the interview 👍

One of the *very* few things the show did right.

😢 Did Hodor know what his fate would be?

It upsets me that these two bozos got a meeting where George spilled a bunch of secrets about the upcoming books. Looking back post season eight, they definitely didn't deserve his trust.

01:05 “holy shit we’re never gonna live up this kind of writing in season 8”

One of the most disturbing scenes for me. I get flashbacks of it from time to time.

Doesn’t this essentially make a time paradox since Hodor is brain dead from the first moment we see him, and when we finally see him turn into Hodor in the past bran isn’t alive and isn’t the three eyed raven. Also in order for Hodor to be turned into Hodor, he would already have to be Hodor as he took Bran North. So does that mean he lived a life at one point not as Hodor since the paradox had to start some way
