This is my favorite version of King Kong. He looks so vicious and powerful. And most of all that roar is so epic.

Honestly this movie is underrated, I think it’s good, not as good as the 2005 or 1933 one, but still good. I love the design and roars of this King Kong, it makes him look, sound and feel intimidating but with still some odd kindness in it, like a actual sympathetic beast

Honestly, this is a very sad scene. Unlike the 1933 version where Kong is rampaging throughout the native's village, it's a very solemn moment when all the villagers come out and kneel in sadness and respect for their fallen idol.

This was the first Kong movie I watched and I don't think he's ever been more scary than this. That roar and the sound effects as he's trying to break through the gate literally packs a punch and makes you feel how powerful he is!

Love how the islanders bow before their fallen God.. Nice touch.
No film ever shows exactly how Kong is manhandled onto a raft or whatever to get him on the ship...
