Come get a CT Scan With Me | Hip Surgery Prep

Come get a CT scan with me! My hip surgery is in November and it's time to get prepped for it! Today I get a CT scan of my hip to compare to my old hip MRIs and X-Rays. You definitely don't want your surgeon going in "blind" with old scans- especially in my situation, there is definitely more damage as time goes on!

What is wrong with my hip, and what surgery am I having?
I have a Femoral Acetabular Impingement (FAI) and labral hip tear that has been untreated for years due to the doctors not believing me.
The tear & deformity need repaired so it does not cause anymore damage or pain , so basically some stitching and bone shaving!

There is no mention here of radiation exposure.
CT’s may be quick and easy.
But too many over a period of time may be exposing a patient to too much unnecessary ionized radiation.
