They did get high in the show twice. Once from tree bark, and the other from spicy stuff.

This may actually be true. Long ago there was an animation of Mordecai and Benson working at a corner store, they have snacks, but drugs are in them, and they start halluciating, A gumball machine, AND  a blue jay.

There absolutely are drug references in this show

There is an episode where Mortdecai, Benson and Rigby do a chilli challenge where they take a jug of this mixture of spicy concoctions and stuff. This is followed by a sequence of distorted weirdness that I swear looked like something you would see if you took drugs. So there is a link between drugs and Regular Show. Loving the vids btw!

I've always thought that the slow sound of a clock ticking in the title sequence was a reference to how sometimes it feels like time is slowing down when you are on drugs. That was my first clue into the show not being what it seems and got me to start thinking there had to be some deeper meaning to everything in the show.

Regular Show was suppose, to be on like Adult Swim I think but they put it on cartoonnetwork. Also in one episode Mordicai or whatever said "You pissed me off". I don't think it was supposed to be on CN but who knows.
