What you get is called surface charge. As you can see on multimeter voltage constantly drops.. Once you go under 10v, there is no going back..

The high voltage generator has very low ampere. It's not an effective way. It will only destroy the battery.

It is possible they are doing this in an attempt, not to charge the battery, but to "recondition" the battery.
Supposedly, small shocks of high voltage help to dislodge debris/building from the lead plates so that it can accept a charge again.
Reportedly it is a hit and miss technique.

Aint gonna’ work friend- thats surface charge only. You wont get the amperage- its no better than a watch battery. Buy a new one for $20. You can pop the caps and fill with distilled water for some juice, but not for long. You should know this.

I have two 12V ups batteries. They have been dead for a long time. They’re at 0.4V each. If i try to charge them, they jump up to 28.7 (They charge in a pair). But they can’t supply any current

The high voltage generator creates AC voltage and not dc so it could only damage the cells inside the battery and it will never charge it ..and once a lead acid battery is dead it should be either removed and replace the old cathode and anodes or fill with more gravity water ..and it's not possible easily so it is better to buy a new one

Current starts at 9v he jumps up v to 11.35 before he removes the test leads it leaks down to 11.31v he dint fix it.
