How to classify mobility living labs? | With SUMMALab and Urban Living Lab Breda
Показать описание
-----
The living labs' movement in Europe started in 2006, when it was mentioned for the first time in the Helsinki Manifesto. Since then, more than 440 living labs were created across the continent, focusing on different fields, such as sustainable energy, healthcare, safety, and mobility. According to the definition given by the European Network of Living Labs, living labs are "open innovation ecosystems in real-life environments using iterative feedback processes throughout a lifecycle approach of an innovation to create sustainable impact." Today, there is a large variety of urban mobility living labs in Europe. In this video, UMX travelled to Breda and Delft to discover the work of two of them, SUMMALab and Urban Living Lab Breda, and to understand how living labs are currently being classified.
This video was shot in Autumn 2022 in collaboration with @BredaUniversityAS. Many thanks to Nina Nesterova (Co-Chair at EU New Mobility Services network), Yashar Araghi (Transport Researcher at TNO), and Marc Holvoet (Landscape Architect at Breda University of Applied Sciences) for participating.
