From what ive seen you need a specialty machine to distinguish lab grown and natural and moisonite is a bit more obvious but it also reflects other collours instead of just white while being almost as strong

To be honest diamonds are easy to find they're like the second most common Rock in our Earth put all the diamond mines are owned by like a select group of people and it's artificially inflated lab-grown diamonds are way better
