In this video, I compare a $20 Nerf Fortnite BASR-L to the $200 Wrenfield Bolt Action by Shellington Labs. It's a 3D printed shell-ejecting bolt action nerf sniper! You can also mimic Call Of Duty reloads with the blaster.

Here is the purchase link for the Wrenfield if you are interested:

The noise of metal grinding against the 3-D printed layers is how you know it’s a $200 gun

I like how “Nerf Gun” is just the universal word for those guns 😂

The 200$ gun reload sounds like the swishy noise nylon pants make when you walk in them

Nobody was commenting this that I saw, but notice how the actual nerf model was only chambered, not primed on set.

This means that there could potentially have been an amount of time (since the specific model was released) wherein the 20$ blaster remained primed for days, possibly weeks. For anyone who doesn’t know, keeping a springer (spring powered blaster) primed weakens the spring due to keeping it tense for so long. Basically, imagine a rubber band that you stretch out as far as you can and then hold it there for a week.

This is a marketing strategy in this specific field, and nobody but actual nerf enthusiasts know this. The marketer can essentially overhinder a nerf springer’s performance overtime while they make a better model. (Not saying that nerf models are even all that good, but still.) This is likely the reason why the 20$ blaster round barely left the barrel. You would imagine that the main company that allows children to shoot each other would make their gun at least actually shoot, if poorly.

Combo that with the fact that springers almost always sell for less and require much less maintenance than electronic blasters, and we have a perfectly manipulate-able market where companies can make their manufactured blasters appear better than they actually are to get first time buyers and new nerf’ers to fork over extra cash for their mediocre product.

It’s all in the marketing, kiddo’s.

That’s just excessive at that point. “Hey everyone lets play nerf war” and here you are blasting baseball sized holes in people 💀
