I feel like black magic design is trying really hard to push all of their users to buying a Mac. Nobody using an Apple computer has these issues, and I just find that kind of weird. Ever since I updated to 18.5, I have been having major problems, and when I speak to tech-support at Black Magic, they are no help at all. They basically tell me to go look at the manual. Lol.

None of this or anything I've seen anywhere worked but then I switched off my VPN and Resolve opened perfectly.

Upgraded to 18.5 & it launched.. then it wouldn't launch.. it just randomly launches.. Been emailing back & forth with tech from Davinci taking me thru steps what to do, even did a complete uninstall & reinstall & it still just randomly opens when it feels like it.. never had this problem before.. tech guy is scratching his head.. not good enough Davinci, I have Studio.. all that money down the drain, , if anybody has a fix please let us know 🙏🙏🙏

Hey, I've done all this, including deleting and shredding all resolve files and options and then did a fresh install and for some reason after being open for 5 minutes, my Davinci crashes without any error message. All my drivers are up to date, I have enough storage and RAM as well. No idea what the issue could be :/

I've had it on my laptop and it worked fine but on my new PC which has a 4090 ddr5 64 gb ram and i9 14900k when I'm editing and delete a big clip or try to add one it closes I've tried all options idk what to do

whenever i open davinci resolve 18 my pc gives me a error about windows not completeting the extraction and the file couldnt create the destination file No idea what the issue could be :/

Whenever i open davinci resolve 17/18 and after a minute or so my pc crashes showing "Your pc ran into a problem" is there any way to prevent this?

oh wow, my gpy is from like 2016 an rx 590 and this WORKED after several reinstalls i had to resort to this! easy driver install too :) thanks

evercense my Windows Update afetr Reformating my Windos10 1 day ago. I cant open my Davinci resolve. I uninstalled and reinstalled the updated virsion, but it will still wont run.
