Thank you so much! Other tutorials showed a different way which didn't work for me. I had to use the disk search feature, which after about 5-6 minutes, found the file.

when i click the link in the top left, i find my file but it doesnt have anything in, but then when i open it on my desktop it does. please HELP

I just started using DaVinci and had this problem right out the gate. I didn't move my files or do anything with them. When I try to relink them it still has the same result. I also noticed when I try to relink and I pull up the folder, it says "No items match your source" is there a particular kind of format I need to edit with Davinci?

i have this issue inside one clip itself...i shot a clip and on its own it plays well..no drop frame ie that RED waring...but inside DR18 on the timeline when i play - its flickers and shows the RED warning...never had this happened before...

You´re wrong in something, i never changed name or moved the video and still getting that error i just simple grab and drag into the program and that happen, it could also be the thing you say but that happen to me and i didn´t rename them or change the folder location. Ok i did that and the error still there, so it has a problem with Mkv files, shame not a single program can use mkv properly.

I know EXACTLY where the files are yet DR18.5 REFUSES to relink. They haven't been renamed. They haven't been moved. DR18.5 is a fresh install. The files were downloaded (with full consent obv'). Project is new, so nothing on timeline, media in known folder not optimised. Media is all file-types DR understands (file host uses them for all edits). I'm at a loss. WTF is going on?

I have a video that I can see but here and there in the video it says Media Offline. In other video players the video looks good.

Doesn't work. This doesn't happen in Adobe Premiere. Davinci POS.
