Even though I'm certain we wont get it in The Winds of Winter...but I want to see a interaction between Stannis and Victarion, it'lll definitely be a fascinating conversation. Two characters very alike in so many ways. Stannis did defeat Victarion during the Greyjoy Rebellion.

I personally find perspectives that are simpler and more stripped down like Victorian and Areo really refreshing when compared to hours of very complex characters in deeply multifaceted situations.

As a Victarion lover, this was like an arrow through the heart😫! It hurts!!! But in all seriousness, after hearing this I have great concern for Victarion's longevity. I've always known Vic was a useful idiot but George unambiguously confirming it is depressing. I'm hoping for some divine intervention to thwart Moqorro's clear plan to sacrifice him; maybe Dany's unexpected return to Meereen or Barristan Selmy accidentally getting in the way...something. I need something!🦑🙏

Victarion seems rather horrific to me. So stupid, yet dangerously powerful with military might at his side.

Victarion is not a leader, he's a follower. That's his greatest weakness. His speech is the weakest of the people at the Kingsmoot, but he even says he wasn't made to give flowery speeches to the Ironborn when he presents himself.

While I think his hope of getting Dany to fall for him is foolish, I really wish he'd succeed just so he could beat Euron.
