Have you experimented with Williamsburg paint Indian Yellow? It’s transparent. Very strong! In a Walcott video ( who’s videos you have mentioned) he suggested it for sun glow tints and it’s awesome. I dilute it with walnut oil or other medium and use it as a glaze often to add a bright glow. It aldo makes a lovely green when mixed with ultramarine blue or prussian blue, Your video made me think it might be good as a priming colour as you used the Hansa Yellow.

Hey Mike, I saw the post first on IG and left a comment there but I wanted to say that big seascape painting you have right there made me want to paint waves, I hope you don't mind. I won't do it right away because Im preparing something with human figures but that waves painting I see it all the time in your videos and Im always thinking I should attack seascapes more (I mean without people because Im always painting coastal themes anyway).
