OH MY GOD!
I haven't had a cycle in probably 8 months now. 42 years old now.
I've been having hot flashes, (especially at night) AND anxiety for seemingly no reason, PLUS tingling extremities!
Wow.
Can't wait to hear more of this video.

Thank you so much for this video!❤I am 47 years old and luckily for me I do have an amazing family doctor who is in her 50’s so she has been through peri menopause so she understands some of the things I have been going through. She checked my hormone levels last year and my testosterone level was zero!! I had no testosterone at all so of course I had no sex drive at all plus the brain fog was awful. My estrogen and progesterone levels were also low. So she put me on an estrogen patch that I change once a week, a progesterone pill I take each night before bed and it has helped me so much with the insomnia and hot flashes. I also go into her office every two weeks (twice a month) and her nurse gives me a testosterone injection in my butt cheeks.🙈 My doctor is certified by NAMS and these hormones have helped me soooo much with the brain fog, insomnia, hot flashes, and I now have a healthy sex drive but I do experience some vaginal dryness so I have to use lubricants sometimes. I used to have bladder leaks & incontinence so bad that I had to wear a thick pantiliner or poise pads 24/7😢And it was horrible wearing a pantiliner or pad every hour of the day and night plus it increased my vaginal dryness so much that it was causing me so much pain and depression.😢 So the hormones have helped with this so much and I never have to wear pantiliners or pads anymore except when I am on my period. But the two things that I have just started experiencing recently and I had No idea that they were related to menopause until I watched this video are joint pain and “frozen shoulder”!!😮I had never even heard of the term frozen shoulder but that’s exactly what it is!!😮The joints in my left thumb are so painful and every time I move it any at all I can feel it popping in the joints and it hurts so bad that I thought I had broke it so I went to the after hours clinic the other night and I saw a male nurse practitioner who said it was arthritis and he just put me on steroids (prednisone) and an anti inflammatory NSAID pain reliever called Meloxicam. But these aren’t really helping and I only had relief from the joint pain the next day after I went to that clinic because he gave me a stronger steroid shot called Decadron that night before I left and I guess it stayed with me the next day but once the shot wore off, the joints started hurting and popping again.😢 And I also have frozen shoulder and the pain is unbearable if I try to lay or sleep on my right side. I can’t lay on my right side at all because if I put my arm up and lay my head on my right shoulder it hurts so bad and I literally cannot move it so it becomes frozen in pain.😢I didn’t connect this to peri menopause so thank you so for this video.❤I will talk to my doctor about this when I see her this week and hopefully she will know something to help me. Sorry for writing so much I just wanted to share my experience with hormone therapy and that it has really helped me so much and I wanted to say thank you for this video because I learned that my joint pain and frozen shoulder are also menopausal symptoms and now that I am aware of what is causing the problems I can start looking for some remedies to help! ❤

So what do you do for all the other symptoms since you can’t do HRT due to your family’s history of breast cancer? How do you avoid cardiac and bone disease? Or all the mental issues that come with menopause?
