It's not a good idea to make a competition between these two games and it's also not fair to compare them because they are made by two different teams with different possibilities, different budgets and different ideas. LN3 developers need to keep the same style of "light horror" while original team is moving forward and trying something not limited by 16+ ratings. Any kind of comparing them isn't just pointless, it is going to split up the community so both games will be having problems because of this.

This game, along with the Little Nightmares franchise, has a lot of similarities with a novel called Lapnova. Even on the cover there's a contorted sheep. The novel is about hunger, torment, cannibalism and human's desperation to survive. Wouldn't be surprised if the game studio was inspired by that novel, along with Studio Ghibli.
Highly recommend reading the book.

I wish that instead of calling it “more little nightmares, ” they’d use the actual term for the subgenre that the producers coined: charming horror. Dark, existential stories with more innocent and lighthearted moments sprinkled throughout. It’s applicable to not only the series it was coined for, but other genre staples like Bramble, Limbo, and Rain World

If not I’m mistaken, the works of Studio Ghibli were explicitly cited as inspiration for not only Little Nightmares, but the City of Metronome as well. The inspo could’ve easily carried over to Reanimal

I’d like to point out some things: the lamb at the end is different from the one at the start, it’s fur is black while the one at the start has white fur, I think the people we see (adults I mean) are just corpses being used as puppets. When we see the sheep first reanimate, the scene right after shows the 2 siblings looking down a well, and a sheep can be heard from below, these scenes are probably connected and at the beginning of the game as the background of the beach scene shows the sky seeming normal, so the whole reanimating thing has probably just recently started, also I just noticed in one of the steam images, the worm thing seems to have a face??? Or I could be seeing things. Edit: I was seeing things lol. Anyways I’d like to add that the “I thought you were dead” comment might be talking about the lamb? Possibly the childrens first reaction to a animal reanimating

I don’t think tarsier studios is competing against little nightmares 3 because that would be just very petty and I know tarsier studios is not like that, but if they are I would completely lose my respect for them because people have already gave LN3 enough trouble and if tarsier are actually competing with them, it would just give them lots more trouble and I mean “LOTS” more trouble and I would hate that
