Potato Hash | Basics with Babish

This week on Basics, we take a look at two easy one-pot potato hash recipes: a classic and a sweet potato. Also this week I made a simple sage gin & tonic, which pairs nicely with all of the flavors going on in the potato hash.

The fact that you buckled the bacon in the middle is a life-changer. I've always begrudgingly snipped my bacon in half because it would never adequately fit in the pan while it was raw. definitely going to try that next time I cook some bacon!!!

Gotta say, using the microwave to precook the potatoes and not having to boil them makes me much more likely to actually make stuff with potatoes in it. That's legitimately just a really handy tip.
