This happened to me like one a month, then one day I was working out, and it happened. I couldn't lay down, take deep breaths, or stand up straight. The pain lasted 6. HOURS. I went to the E.R., they did chest X-rays, an EKG, both came back normal. Doctor didn't understand what was happening, so just gave me some weak pain meds in my IV. Finally I could lay down and breathe deeply. It didn't make any sense. Thank you for explaining this.

Mines feels like a jolt to the heart, it feels like a bubble bursting in my heart region, like my heart skipped a beat. It’s so scary, it’s been happening more now that I workout. It freaks me out because the pain sometimes goes all the way to my back in the same area where the heart pain is. I’m so scared

I’m going through it at the time of this comment. I have no heart issues and none of the other symptoms match. This one makes most sense yet the “they normally last for a few seconds or minutes” part. That kinda threw me off guard.

I’ve always had this but recently I’ve been getting it multiple times a day, and it won’t go away until I take a very deep breath and I feel pop in area, so painful 😖

Thanks Doc, slept on my left side, on my arm with my chest in a very awkward position and felt it as I was sleeping but was so deeply sleepy that i didn't reposition. When i did wake up, i had this pain right at the top of my rib, under my left breast and as i breath deeply man the pain was sharp. It feels like a pinched nerve. Thats immediately what i thought but it was kinda scary 😮😅❤

It mostly affects Children and Adolescents and is caused of the nerves in your chest being squeezed or aggravated-.
