Craving a quick and easy snack that's both delicious and impressive? Look no further! Today, we're whipping up a batch of irresistible ham and cheese pinwheels. They're perfect for parties, potlucks, or a simple weeknight treat. So grab your apron and let's get cooking!

1 Sheet Frozen Puff Pastry, Thawed
2 Tablespoons Dijon Mustard
6 Slices Deli Ham
3 Ounces (85g) Shredded Cheese
2 Tablespoons Chopped Chives
2 Eggs For Egg Wash

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C)

Unfold one sheet of puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Gently roll out to stretch to an even rectangle, approximately 9 x 10 inches (22 x 25cm).

Using a pastry brush or offset spatula, spread a thin layer of the mustard on the pastry, leaving a small border around the edges.

Place 4 to 6 slices of ham on top (depending on how big you've stretched the pastry). Sprinkle the cheese and the chives.

Carefully roll the pastry up tightly. Trim the edges so they're neat.

Wrap each roll in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 20 minutes to allow the dough to firm back up.

Once chilled, remove from plastic and using a serrated knife, cut each roll into 12 slices. Spread slices out on a parchment lined baking tray. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15 - 20 minutes, or until golden brown.

Note: When you wrap and put in the fridge to chill, the rolls can be kept in the fridge for a week, or frozen for a month.

Hmm, I might do that with scallion pancakes from a package in the freezers at an Asian grocery store. That way, I can do everything but not add green onions, as they are inside the dough.
