For a 16-inch laptop, this is a powerful and well designed. Intel 13th generation H series CPU, a Nvidia RTX 4070 GPU, 1080p web camera, 2.8k display resolution, and 165hz display refresh rate. I do worry about battery life after a month of use with all that power. Looking forward to the follow up review.

You should've also included the performance of the 14" new model as well. Obviously this new 16" has more room for better cooling and higher power levels.

Now that is called a real "upgrade". Great job Lenovo! Not only the cpu+gpu, they came up with a new mini LED screen, new keyboard with more travel, and an upgraded speaker. 14.5" is a sweet spot and I will get that because the numpad and touchpad on the left is a "No" for me. And unlike HP Spectre, and all other big names, Lenovo added the full sized SD card slot. As a photographer I couldn’t have appreciated it more.

Now the framework 16 has been announced, I can’t get excited about these regular laptops

I’m down for a numpad on a 16” laptop! I think if you want a maximally compact and portable device, you’d go for the 14” anyway. If there’s space on the 16”, send a numpad at it, why not ?

This laptop sounds great! BUT: non-removable fans, non-removable RAM, non-removable Wi-Fi. Great anti-repair practice. Basically, anything except of SSD breaks - change whole MB

What is the point of comparing i9-13905H + RTX4070 to i7-12700H + RTX3050? Both CPU and GPU are in different league.

The most important in a laptop as well to have a reasonable battery life to accomplish some work. Great details and overview 💐💐

Are they going to release a Ryzen 7940hs variant too?

This would make the most sense as it's faster and way more efficient than the 13900/05H...

Though I must say the heat management here is insane and unheard of! Just look at the XPS 15/17..

I don't quite understand the hate towards numpad. Users outside of the US that speak languages other than English need the top number row for the specific symbols (č, á, í, ť...) so the numpad is actually very useful. I keep hearing this on every review channel. I get it, laptop looks sleeker without it but still, its really ignorant

You should include the ambient temperature in the temperature slide as it will have a big effect depending upon where u live

Sir, I really value battery life in a gaming laptop and the one I intend to buy sooner should be one of them. I have been using a 2018 Aero 15X, which was the battery king then in a portable gaming laptop chassis. You too I believe gave it a thumbs up. I would request you to suggest whether the newer Ryzen 7th Gen CPUs will release soon and if they will boast those industry leading battery stats. My activities includes light - mid gaming, Java coding and watching good quality content. Thanks!

This thing is a productivity beast. Looks very clean and professional too. Would love to get one but the price is probably exorbitant

1200 nits in a laptop?! That's sick... hardly ever seen above 550 nits. Still - imho OLEDs is the only solution, especially when you spend 8-12 hrs a day. Blue light pretty much reduced to an acceptable minimum, great contrast, with brightness reaching 500nits+. But obviously, if you work outdoors - it's a beast :)

This looks incredible. So much power packed into something that's so aesthetically pleasing and still has connectivity/QOL improvements.

Is this laptop officially available for sale yet. When can we expect a full unbiased review. It seems a little too good to be true.
