THE BEST gaming laptop YouTube channel in existence! I'm eternally grateful for your hard work! Thank you, Jarrod. What I'm super disappointed about is that not a single 18" laptop has 2 Thunderbolt 5 ports AND a Mini DisplayPort 2.1. I get that laptop manufacturers want to phase out the MiniDP connector & replace it with USB-C. I would be cool with that if they gave us 3 Thunderbolt 5 ports (while maintaining all the other ports). I really would appreciate an explanation as to why having 3 TB5 ports isn't a thing! Some of us super users really need that!

I have the Asus ROG Strix G16 with a i9-13980HX, RTX 4070, 32gb ddr5 ram, and 3Tb of storage. It slays everything i throw at it on ultra settings. Avg around 150fps in most games at 2k.

Disappointing (again) that many laptops won’t be pairing high end AMD CPUs with higher Nvidia GPUs even though everything else is looking good. (Is AMD or Vendors to blame for the poor availability? Rumors saying its AMD’s fault)

Asus Strix with new screen and easy access maintenance latch looks super good but AMD 5070ti max eh?

I think the only brand with high end combo is MSI? Am I missing anyone else? New HP Omen Max looks good, and once again disappointed with Alienware and their seemingly poor screen choice (again, lol they don’t learn.)

Credit due to Asus for the easy access design for upgrading storage and memory, should have happened years ago. Probably going to be copied by other OEMs next year.

...and it could help Asus with cutting back on potentential RMAs if people no longer need to go near the motherboards.

The AMD version of the Zephyrus G16 topping up at a 5070 is a BIG L! Unless they bring out an AMD Advantage edition with the upcoming 9070M XT (?), I'm jumping to the Razer bandwagon!

Biggest scam of CES is the Ryzen 9955X3D not getting paired with the 5090 or even the 5080. Asus what is the use of announcing that you are using the fastest mobile gaming CPU when you give it a second hand treatment? Only makes it worse for you. Your moto "In search of incredible" continues only because you refuse to make one.
