I think Pat is very fair. I went through a lengthy, rigorous filtering process to work as an armed responder at a nuclear power plant. It was imperative that we were the best of the best.

Some people may not have a desire to read self help books a lot, but they take in content and study other aspects of life to gain more understanding and wisdom about things they aspire towards in life. Some people have a gift of wisdom and understanding without reading so much. It matters most of all if the person has a willing mind to actually do the things they know to do. That sets someone else apart and makes them stand out from the rest in my opinion.
