thank you for this video! I really liked the tip on adding the no subscription repo! I was running Citrix on a really nice dual Xeon server but they keep switching back and forth on updates and the variety of OS's it supports is limited. So far, Proxmox is working really well! There are some frustrating things with how it integrates storage from iSCSI for example. Hopefully, later it will be better integrated.

Instead of sshing into the server from a cmd window to use ctrl+w, you can just use F6 in the proxmox terminal window in the browser...

Is there a way to add all space in LVM-THIN? Asking as I see that the Local DIR which we just created and deleted LVM-THIN, does not support snapshots for Lxc Containers. You can do snapshots of VMs on Local Dir by creating the Von Qcow2, but for Container, Qcow2 is not available and in Raw, you cannot take snapshot of the container if it is on Local Directory

How did you make your /dev/sda a single /dev/sda1 ext4 (mounted) partition? A fresh install of 7.2 gives me sda1 - Boot bios, sda2 - EFI, and sda3 - LVM respectively. I don't care for LVM.

Hi, I didnt get the point of cleaning up the boot disk is that harmless??

I use a separate disk boot and Vms, and installing the Vms with virtIO,
am I doing something wrong?

You didn't do it here, but I've been trying to "download from URL" when uploading ISO's and I keep getting a "temporary failure to name resolution" error I'm assuming this is a DNS issue, but any ideas how to fix this issue?
