This was my first surgery ever, lucky to catch it on the first day.

I had appendicitis 4 days ago. I stayed at the hospital for 2 and a half days. They gave me a special medicine to make me sleep then they took out the appendix. I am at home now and I feel better now :)

I’m kinda scared right now. My stomach hurts in the bottom right, just like the video. I am getting almost like cramps, but they are getting worse over time. I got sent home today from school because I had a fever and my stomach hurt. I’m home alone and 12, and the pain is getting worse and more common.

Just got my surgery done today at cooks children’s and it was a nice experience, the staff was nice and their are many programs to have a fun time while waiting for the surgery or after. I got to go home the same day and I’m currently working on the pain that happens after surgery. It feels really sore around the belly button and the shoulders but I’m taking Tylenol so it’ll feel better.

The pain is terrible and I had to go to multiple hospitals until one said it was appendicitis. I was told that my appendix bursted as it was being taken out and I was lucky I got it done at the time. It took a couple of days to recover, but i’m good now :)
