How long can one wait for removal of appendix with Appendicitis? - Dr. Muralidhar S Kathalagiri

In acute appendicitis the surgery should be done as early as possible once the diagnosis is done. Waiting too long will be causing lot of complications including perforation, peritonitis etc which will prolong the healing. The recommendation is that we should operate as early as possible once we diagnose the case of an acute appendicitis.
