Of course, if you just take things as they are now without applying any logic he would be right... but if the Empire was truly united, they would work to fix their own economy instead of ignoring the poorest areas within it, like they are now ignoring these countries. So no, the USA will NOT, in fact, win shit. The Empire has within it many amongst the current top10 countries (like Germany, Italy, France) and within a singular Empire those countries economy would merge esponentially and fight USA and other powers instead of themselves.
