Ingredients:12-15 servings
5qt water
2 tbsp salt
1 onion
1 lemon
1 boil in a bag
1 tbsp shrimp boil concentrate
4 corns
2 lbs baby potatoes
5 lbs shrimp
Crab legs (optional)
Infused butter
2 lbs (8 sticks) unsalted butter
2 lbs sausage
Minced garlic(3 heads)
5 tbsp paprika
6 tbsp lemon pepper
Cayenne pepper I used 1/4 cup
1/4 cup old bay seasoning
1/4 cup Cajun seasoning
2 tbsp onion powder
2 tbsp brown sugar
Juice of 1 lemon
1 1/2 cup broth
1 serving of love💕

OMGoodness! I made this for Christmas Eve and my whole family said that it was Top Tier!!! When I looked at your recipe and saw the brown sugar, I knew that it would be a winner!! Thank you!!

Hi, there. I have made this a couple of times, and one thing I discovered is that if you puncture the potatoes, they get more flavorful. The first time I made it, I did not, since the recipe I used did not indicate that, but I noticed the potatoes were lacking flavor. Therefore, the following time I made it, I used a fork to make holes on the potatoes, and it turned out better. One thing I learned about your recipe that I will do next time is add brown sugar to the mix! Thank you!

That is absolutely the most insane amazingly awesome boil I have ever seen in my life! Holy cow can’t wait to do this for my next party. 20 pounds of butter and a truckload of garlic. How can it go wrong?

It’s soooo good! The brown sugar thickens the sauce and makes it stick to the shrimp instead of slide off 🔥🌽🥔🍤 We eat it with steamed rice and eggs 🥚🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤

Claudia making this a two step process is brilliant. I've been making shrimp boil for years and have always put everything in one pot.
Cooking the shrimp separately intensifies the flavor.

If you want to add even more flavor, use chicken stock instead of water. A little bit of beer in the butter mixture helps as well.

If crab legs are too pricey for you, you can swap them out for more susage, more shrimp or crawfish.

I made your recipe but since only hubby and I so made half and yes it was delicious, didn’t make as spicy as yours but still for our taste buds it was so delicious. Thank you this was easy to do and will make again. I did have any crab legs but the shrimp and vegetables was enough.
