I am a senior citizen. When i was 13yrs old i had a crush on a 13yr old boy. I told him i liked him and wanted him as a boy friend. He was so nice and said he'd liked me as a friend. We remained friends. I looked on him not as a boy i wanted to date anymore. I realized i too was too young to think about dating. Back in the 70s dating was holding hads, having lunch together, going to the movies. No kissing or anything like that.
