I got stuck. I've never used this program before and I've never really done a floor plan before. I got stuck when making the grid because I am in the USA and we use the Imperial System, and I really don't want to attempt to convert all my measurements to Metric. So any thoughts on how I could make each box equal a foot? My room is approx. 2 ft x 41 ft. so I'm guessing I should try to have a grid that is maybe 70+ boxes wide and 50 boxes tall? Not sure how to do that either. I am not an architect, nor awesome at math. I am sorry for my ignorance, but I'm very to have come across a helpful video. Thank you.

How do I change the perspective from 3d to 2d? I have the problem that I only get a 3d perspective in illustrator and I don't know how to change it to 2d. The grid is a 3d grid that I get.
