i like that as baddass, giant and trained reacher is. The moment a knife was in play he ran the shit away until he had something to help even the odds. nice bit of realism (not that I need such a thing in my action scenes) that adds to the scene and just how tactically intelligent he is.

I didn't expect this series to be as good as it is. It is really well written, with great character development. I like how the action is not spoiled by stupid wise cracks... they save that to later, when in safety.

I read the first books ages ago (Killing Floor, Die Trying, Tripwire, etc.) When they cast Tom Cruise as Reacher, I was a little sick to my stomach. Alan Ritchson is basically Jack Reacher. Fantastic pick for the role. Can't wait for Season 2.

I am a huge Tom Cruise fan. He does amazing work and always entertains. But Alan is so much better in this role than Tom, and not just because of the physique. Tom isn't brutal enough. Can't wait for S2.
