What has always struck me as so delicious in this scene is the smug, arrogant look on the face of the shorter office evaporates in an instant when the phone begins to ring. He's completely in charge (or so he thinks) and in a nanosecond that's all gone. Beautiful.

Cruise was an excellent Reacher, unfortunately had his shortcomings though....nine inches of them.

you know what would have made this scene SO much better?
Showing the whole 90 seconds - from freeing Jack to putting the SAME cuffs onto the sheriff's wrists - in ONE longshot, without a single cut.

Sends chills up my spine. "Reminds me of my son". Honorable, tough as nails, and stands for what he knows is right. "Who the hell are you?" "The guy you didn't count on". Epic.

I'd like to see "Nothing to Lose"on the silver screen. When Reacher was actually angry. Unlike his normal calm, collected self, he started killing.

I LOVE these Jack Reacher movies. Class and ethics, with determination and getting the job done even if disciplining the bad guys roughly is a must.

We always praise Tom, but the other actors in the scenes perform so well, it brings out the entire portion in the movie realistic

I read the whole series to date and can honestly say I never thought Tom Cruise could pull of the Reacher character but man was I wrong!
