This is my favorite Reacher scene to date. All he had to do was to stand and stare at the guy. No violence necessary. I think that guy will be very different for having Reacher look through to the back of his head. More so than if Reacher beat the cr@#p out of him.

BTW, this calls back to a scene from the 1959 Ben-Hur where Jesus saves Ben-Hur's life as he is being marched through the desert to the galleys. Jesus stops the Roman centurion dead in his tracks by simply looking at him.
