Out of curiousity, does it taste good or bad?

I assume it tasted good based on your facial expressions, but I’m not sure.

The reason this is no longer recommend is simply because intelligence has plummeted since the beginning of the 20th century, and has now reached the point where, combined with lack of exposure to death.and a culture of "safety" wrapping people in cotton wool since birth, that someone of average intelligence may easily misunderstand the importance of the instructions and swallow instead of spit, because *_"it was just a little, I didn't think it would matter."_*

They simply expect that someone from the government would come and stop them, would have removed all the dangerous mushrooms, or outlawed them.

This is why food and drink containers have warnings "hot food may cause burns."

It's the ignorance of modern people which makes it dangerous.

3% of the population have Gilbert's syndrome, and others, a reduced ability to handle toxins in the liver.
It wouldn't be wise to temp fate like this, at least for that group.

Soma Shaman Hawkes used to have a video of him consuming an entire raw death cap, for shamanic purposes.
He didn't die or require a hospital because he prepared his body beforehand.

Guys if you see a wild mushroom you can’t identity or looks similar to another mushroom but your not sure if it’s the real one, don’t eat it.

I wish you told us what the taste was because if not then I can't find a single reason that anybody would do this...

You are... Alright?! Kamikadze...
Maybe it's amanita crocea, or vaginata, but not phalloides?! 😮 Amanita vaginata or crocea look very similar to AP, but they are harmless, even considered conditionally-edible when cooked, and the danger is not of the Amanita crocea or vaginata as such but of mixing them up with Amanita Phalloides, they look extremely similar!
