What could be causing a weird taste in your mouth:
1. Oral thrush/candida
Remedies:

#10 toxicity....metallic taste in your mouth. I told a Dr. years ago that whenever I was around chemicals I would get this taste in my mouth like I had just licked a tin can. Our entire family (of 4) had multiple symptoms that were caused by hydrocarbon poisoning (our oil tank filter leaked directly into the crawlspace of our home...3-4 feet deep saturated in the red clay). What a nightmare. We are a lot less sensitive to chemicals now as that was 25 years ago.

Had a mate with a metallic taste in her mouth. Advised her to get blood work done for I suspected since she stopped consuming meat her B12 - not getting or not consuming enough. Sure enough she had a vitamin B12 deficiency. The metallic taste went away after incorporating B12 in her diet. Do note: there are other causes of a metallic taste in ones mouth. Kidney failure, sinus infections, women's hormones - pregnacy, iron supplements and other medications, chemo to name a few.
