Best explanation ive heard, i dropped most of my covid weight gain and now adding more cardio in to get that last 10 lbs and dont want to lose my muscle

best video ever!! Simple enough: Too much cardio definitely cuts down muscle because the body is designed to adapt. Too much cardio would mean youre adapting to be an endurance athlete so the muscles will need to shrink in order for the body to endure running in long distances and develop more heart muscle than your skeletal muscles. At least thats how I envision it to make it more sense when i work out.

Im glad i saw this, i started jogging every afternoon ..lift weights in the morning not expecting it to affect my muscle growth but it will from what you said ty...so I'll jog once a week now

I love how u explain this. Very informative. I noticed that’s also how i kept losing weight. But I realized also i was looking more skinny, which I didn’t like. We really just gotta take the time to know these things. Thats the key.
