I think the best illustration for the trinity is that of the fire triangle. You need heat, fuel and oxygen in order to have fire. If you take away one element of the fire triangle you no longer have fire. And fuel is not oxygen, oxygen is not heat etc.

The main problem with illustrations like the egg representing the trinity is that they can be separated. The Bible is clear that he that hath the son hath the father also. Hope this helps someone understand!

Just like everything else. The carnally minded cannot understand the way of God or his nature as three separated persons all of which are God.

the term TRINITY is NOWHERE to be found in the whole Bible. Tri-unity would be me accurate, getting rid of the person concept of God the Father, Christ Jesus the Only Begotten Son and Saviour of mankind and the Holy Spirit which speaks for itself (can NEVER be a person as we know it on an individual level).

1 John 5:7
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

So God is three persons. And one of the three persons is made of the flesh of Mary, and was sleepy and hungry?

Person = one head and one body

3 distinct persons = 3 heads and 3 bodies

So it isn’t one Godhead and one Body. Steve says it’s Godhood or Trinity and how many bodies?

So, why do the scriptures say:

Colossians 2:9 (KJV)
For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

Romans 8:9 (KJV)
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

1 Corinthians 12:13 (KJV)
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether [we be] Jews or Gentiles, whether [we be] bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

John 4:24 (KJV)
God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth.

You said the body spirit and soul. Spirit and soul are the same things. You’re not making any sense.
