We pray to our Father in the name of Jesus through the Holy Spirit🙏

Trinitarians pray to the Father in Jesus Name. There’s no mystery there. John 14:12-14

This question that he presents to the trinitarians, gives us clear illustration of how he perceives that trinitarians view doctrine!

This is a serious mischaracterization of Nicene orthodoxy and Bernard surely has enough education on the subject to know this. What he is describing as "Oneness" is at the heart of what the orthodox church has taught for 2, 000 years. I don't know why he feels the need to build strawmen to create unneccesary distinctions.

"In Christ dwells the FULLNESS of Godhead in bodily." (Not one-third)

One God, One Being, One Essence, shared in 3 persons of that same God. If you want things to be easier to understand head over to the Islam aisle. They should have what you’re looking for.

You can address specific persons of the trinity and the Godhead collectively. They are in perfect unity with one another.

“Look! I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!” (Acts 7:56).

His question is a fallacy! For you to ask a Christian who they are praying too they will say God. They will never not say God. He has a very convoluted understanding of the Trinity which is a theological position about the revealed nature of God. Just say you disagree don’t try to misrepresent the position and as a result sound quite ignorant of the subject all together.

I grew up in a trinitarian church. I was taught we pray to the Holy Spirit who would then tell God. I remember thinking that’s crazy. I often would pray…”I don’t know who I’m praying too but…..(then I would say my prayer)” I felt like it was empty and not right. I met my husband. He was apostolic. I started to learn a lot from him about only having one God. Yes I fought him a lot on it as I didn’t want to be wrong lol. But man, when I had the revelation of who Jesus really is. I could finally pray in a powerful way and know just I am talking too. It’s an overwhelming feeling. I am so thankful I found the truth

I once heard John MacArthur field a Q&A question about which person in the trinity we should pray to. He went on to explain that the Holy Spirit is the most neglected person in the trinity, and we ought to devote time in prayer to him in particular. If that doesn't expose polytheism in trinity doctrine, I don't know what possibly could, short of having a group breakfast with the Godhead.

When I talk to my wife, who am I talking to? Her body? Her spirit? Her soul (if there even is a distinction between spirit and soul)? I'm talking to all of her, in every way she exists. Her body hears, and her mind processes my words. Her nervous system reacts. Depending on what I say, her heart might beat faster and she may feel encouraged and loved or angry, lol. And her soul and spirit are affected in ways we can't even quantify in human terms.

This "who are you talking to specifically" notion is such a narrow way to look at God, as if we can peg his whole being in all his complexity to just one way of way of existing.

God made us in his image, We we’re given a Body, Soul, and Spirit, just like God!

This was the beginning of my Apostolic conversion in high school. I asked my trinitarian youth pastor at a non denomination.

I asked if we follow the same God of the Jews we must have the same God. What is the name of each, he said Each was named Jesus then he did th circular reasoning and said I need to be baptized and the Spirit will help me understand. I got baptized and still had questions.

God eventually helped me find a the Apostolic church that changed it all

Amen brother Bernard
I ask the same question
One day
Your soul will stand before God
You see just one
He asked you
I am he
Do you see anyone else.
The only way you will see God will be in the face of Jesus
As you began to reason he will ask you what are you looking at
Do you see anyone esle

Jesus said to pray to the Father in Jesus name. It's not hard

This is pretty simple, God wasn't sitting on his throne saying I sure wish I had a son. He sure didn't say to the Holy Ghost go down to that girl Mary and make her pregnant so I can have a son.
Especially when God said I will not give my glory to another.

It's like dividing 1 by 3. Trinity doesn't mean 3 separate Gods...

Easy. I pray the way Jesus taught his disciples to pray in Luke 11 and Matt 9. And he says to pray to the Father.

Oneness proponents always neglect the pre-incarnate conversation of God with His Son shown in Hebrews 1.

The Father is an invisible Spirit that no man has seen or can see( 1John 4:12).
No man has ever seen the Holy Spirit, so the only visible manifestation of God man will ever see is in the glorified body of Jesus Christ. For all intents and purposes Jesus Christ is God.
