Learn how to set up a team and channels or subgroups in Microsoft Teams. Under the Teams tab, you can create or join a team. Teams can be public or private depending on the settings you select. Private teams are only viewable by those you invite to the team and any information loaded to a private team is limited to that group. Channels under a team can be used to divide the team into groups or create main topic areas for chat. The channels can also be public and visible to the team or private to only include invited members.
