Показать описание
An ACL injury is a tear of the ligament in the center of your knee that affects the stability of your knee. Often, it occurs landing from a jump or turning quickly to change direction. It usually requires surgery to make a new ligament, and it involves months of physical therapy. Return to sports and exercise rates are good, but it often takes six to nine months or more. Even with surgery, you are still at a much higher risk of arthritis in the future.

I tore my ligaments when I was a senior in high school, graduated in a brace I had to wear for 2 years, 20 years later knee still bad, avoiding knee replacement at all costs. Bone on bone, now that I'm skinny it hurts even more, maybe I should be chubby again. I'm joking, but what a trip when chubby less pain, being skinny now, more pain.
